My "La Sao" Scallop & Oyster Porridge

Delicious Scallop & Oyster Porridge

Ingredients :
Ikan Bilis / Anchovies - 1 handful of it
White Rice
Potatoes 2-3 pieces (Dice into cubes)
Dried Scallops
Dried Oysters
Carrots - Half - sliced into thin stick (I didnt put in any this time as didnt expect to cook tonight, so i replaced with lettuce)
Chinese lettuce - A full plate (Optional)

Rinse the anchovies with water and place into a pot to boil it. After boiling, take out the soup and place into another pot to start cooking the porridge. Make sure to get the anchovies from pasar, the dried ones.
Balance of the ikan bilis soup.
Lettuce.
Dice the potatoes into cubes. I love potatoes, so i put 3 pieces for a serving of two.
Soak the scallops and oysters for an hour or two before boiling it with the porridge. Pour in the soaked water too. As it contains a lot of the taste from em.
This is the example of the diced potatoes.

Okay, so placing the anchovies soup into another pot, boil it together with white rice; which have been rinsed and washed, add in the scallops and oysters. Boil till the rice is half cooked, and there you add in the potatoes and carrots.
This is how it looks like when its already cooked. Trust me, the porridge is really delicious, very and extremely delicious. We can finish the whole big pot, especially when my sis is around, she would take 2-3 bowls one after another.
The looks of it while its boiling hot.
Switch off the fire and add in the full plate of lettuce once done and leave it aside with a cover.
Okay ..... And this is my bowl of porridge for the night.. Yummy, really delicious, the taste from anchovies, scallops, oysters and potatoes. Really taste good, doesnt need to add any other flavourings. The taste is just so good. You can taste it from the very first spoon.
However, i am used to putting in Marmite to every porridge i take. And it will make the taste even better, more aroma.
I hope you guys and gals will try out this porridge, as it's really good. Trust me, very very good. I use to cook this once in every two to three weeks. Can try cooking this for your loved ones.

Happy Cooking...... :-) Enjoy!
