Pork Chop

Mushroom Herbs Garlic Chop

Ingredients :
Pork - i bought the "loin" section
Chicken stock - i boiled myself (half a bowl-small)
White / Red Onions (sliced)
Peppermint (chopped)
Fresh rosemary + Parsley + Chives + Tarragon (chopped)
Mushroom x 2 pcs (sliced)
Tomato X 1 pcs (dice into cubes)
1 tbsp salted butter
3-4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
Salt & black pepper

To season the pork - A little salt + black pepper and add the rest of it: herbs & garlic.
I leave it in the fridge for 30 mins to an hour.
This is how i seasoned the pork, with all the chopped herbs and garlic.

And now it's time to pan fry the pork chop, spread some olive oil onto the pan & place the chop on one side for 3 mins, followed by another side for 3 mins again. Let it be 3/4 cooked, or when u see it in nice colour of a little brownish gold.

Next we proceed to the gravy, add a little olive oil onto a saucepan, let it heat up a little then pour in the onions, let it fry for about 10 mins, with its nice aroma, keep stirring it for the whole 10 mins, and make sure check on the heat, not to let the onions burnt, add in the slices of mushroom, add some black pepper to give it some taste, continue to stir the mushroom together with the onions, add in the dice tomatoes, stir and mix well, after about 2 mins, slowly bit by bit pour the chicken stock into the saucepan, while you continue stirring.

Once, all are being added into the saucepan, and its boiled, with some bubbles, place the pork chop which have been pan fried earlier, into the saucepan and let it there for 2-3mins, and change side for another 2-3mins.

Remove the chop from the saucepan and serve it on a plate, and as for the gravy, do not pour it out, add in the 1 tbsp of butter instead and chopped herbs. Stir for a while about 1-2 mins, and its ready to be served, place em on top of the pork. And the food is ready to be eaten.

You could garnish the chop with some vegetables - i used asparagus & broccoli, cucumber & tomatoes just like for my previous salmon steak.

Let me show you my pork chop pics.
This was my first attempt of making the chop. I added some maggi seasoning that is used in making ramli burger, it didnt taste too good, with that smell in my pork.
A closer view to my first pork chop.
And this was my 2nd chop for the very next day. This tasted good, without the maggi seasoning.
Haha, sorry to show this pic, its my empty plate from the pork chop, left with only the skins on it. Yummy.....

Well, a great evening tea time by having pork chop with a glass of Apple Juice which i made myself too; i forgotten to take the picture.
Quite an okay diet though, with some little fats & protein, as well as fibres.

Happy Cooking!!

All home made, natural food without any artificial flavouring.
